University Sport
| The Australian University Games (AUG) has grown to be Australia's largest annual multi sport event. Held each September/October, the Games is renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for Australian university athletes and is the flagship event on the national university sporting calendar. Each year the Games sporting schedule is made up of more than 28 individual and team sports. | ||

The Australian University Games were held over the mid-semester break in perfect Gold Coast weather. UWS took 176 Athletes to compete in a vast array of sports over the 5 days, from AFL to Tenpin Bowling to Athletics and Ultimate Frisbee.
All the teams represented UWS well and wore the University colours with pride. The students can be very proud of their performances and behaviour, standing out from the 40 universities from across Australia.
